Idyllic West Cork, Ireland - rural location but only 5 minutes drive to buzzing village

About this assignment

Urgently needed! Mature and responsible person/couple to stay in my house from mid-February to beginning of April (7+ weeks) to care for my home, my dog and 2 cats. Must be comfortable with living in a rural (and very beautiful!) location. Lovely neighbours up the road and two villages within 5 mins drive, 2 towns within 20 mins drive but the city is 2 hours away. There is public transport but own car necessary. Also need to be OK with Irish weather!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Very comfortable job... minding the house and indoor/outdoor dog and 2 cats. Daily walk for the dog (sometimes the cat comes too!). Keeping everything running smoothly indoors and outdoors. Need to be on site every night but plenty time to explore the local area.

What are the good features of the property and location

Modern house in idyllic location in southwest of Ireland on edge of protected bog between 2 picturesque villages. Sea nearby. Area attracts artist, writers, musicians. Quiet but sociable - a hidden corner that the Irish seek out for holidays. Would suit someone wanting some downtime and peaceful away-from-it all rest to write/unwind

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must be able to provide verifiable references. Folks needing city life should not apply! Would suit person(s) wanting a taste of rural Ireland but no too remote
