Well, they should take good care for my pet and also look after the house, like mail, garbage, plants etc.
Walking the dog daily and taking good care of her and the house
And hopefully enjoy Luxembourg :-)

The house is situated both near the city and near the woods.
The neighborhood is really very quiet and nice to visit by foot. the bus station is close by. Public transport is free.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Above all they need sense of responsability.
They should be used to get along in foreign countries.
