We are looking a kind and responsible person(s) that will spend days (21- 26.12.2024) in our house with dog, cat and 2 guinea pigs company and fish. You don't have to of course sit at home whole days.
Cat - Mruczek - likes being outside and come back when is cold or hungry. He has to be fed 2 times a day and has available litter box in his corner. (However he prefers going outside). Dog needs to be walked 2-3 times a day and fed 2 times. Guinea pigs need to have dried food/grass, water and company from time to time - but the last one is not mandatory. Fish they only need to be fed 2 times a day.
This is renewed old house in Wroclaw, close to tram stop (well communicated with city center). You can check on google map: Starogajowa, Wroclaw. You must visit the old town that is exceptional.
Place for a car in house area is available. Wifi is available. About 1 km from the house there is a forest and paths to walk or ride a bike. Bikes are available. Garden is oldstyle. There are plenty of CD's and vinyls to listen to in the living room.
In distance of around 3 km there is small centre of Lesnica that used to be town and now is joined to Wroclaw. There are shops, palace and big park.
Place for a car in house area is available but without roof. To the closest shop (Lidl) there is 1,5km. in 3 km distance (e.g. by tram) there is small centre with palace and restaurants and shops.
No, sorry.

Cozy atmosphere and lovely pets :)
The home is owned by a lovely couple, who gave all necessary information we needed - oral and written instructions about pets, know-how about house equipment, places nearby, nice dog walking terrains, etc. Kitchen is well equipped, we had everything we needed. Magda cooked a some delicious soup for us! They care about their environment, separate waste bins are also available inside. Pets were easy to take care of, no extra special requirements, regular pet care was required. Dog loved long walks as well as we did with him :) He can be easily handled. We recommend this place, the neighborhood is very good, the city is full of hidden gems, public transport is very good, no car was needed.

Beautiful and tranquil
Beautiful and tranquil area I had the opportunity to sit for Magdalena and family.. it's a pretty area around Wroclaw I was able to get around pretty easy on the tram and train ..but mostly just walked with meksyk the dog, he was always ready to go for a walk.. their home is lovely and comfortable the cat was usually out in the garden.. which I admit was my favorite place to sit and read.. the guinea pigs will be your friend if you give a handful of fresh grass and will clank their bowls to let you know that they're empty lol... thank you again for inviting me into your home Home owner: Magdalena, Poland, 08 July, 2023

A week in Wroclaw
Magda and Lawrence are friendly and great cooks. Communication was clear. Watching their pets and home was straightforward. Meksyk is a calm dog. There are nice walks around the neighborhood and a nearby pond. The neighborhood is peaceful. The cat was outdoors most of the week but very affectionate when he came around the house. They have lots of fruit trees and gardens in the back yard. It was easy to get around by bicycle, electric scooter, bus, train, walking, and FreeNow taxi. Downtown Wroclaw has delicious restaurants and some nice museums and architecture. A+ visit.

Friendly owners, comfortable house, lovely pets
I've taken care about Magdalena's house and lovely pets for a week, when she with her family went for a winter holiday. The house is on the outskirts of Wroclaw, but with very convenient public transport connections. After I arrived, we had a cup of coffee, they fed me some delicious soup and we talked about many various things. Afterwards they showed me around the house and helped me get acquainted with the animals explaining what I needed to know to take care of them. The pets: a dog, a cat and two guinea pigs. The dog is very friendly, trusting and really obedient. No problems with feeding and the walks, I've felt completely accepted. The cat is cute, likes to play and enjoys roaming outside, however obediently comes back when called. Guinea pigs not surprisingly not problematic at all. I've had a great time, peace, quiet and quality company of the pets. Exactly what I needed. I was in touch with Magdalena throughout the stay. I left before the owners came back, but we agreed where should I leave the keys, so there were no issues. I highly recommend the owners, the pets and the house. It's a great place if one wants to take some rest in almost rural surroundings, but close to the city.

Lovely petsit
I liked this petsit a lot; everything was right. First of all: Meksyk the dog is a wonderful nice one, we were friends right from the start. He is very easy to handle and listens very well. It's a pleasure to walk him, you can let him walk loose, he runs and jumps as crazy, and takes a jump in every water he sees, for a nice short swim. He is just happy. The only time you have to leash him is when there's a road ahead, for guiding him across the street. But he comes immediately when you call him, so that's easy to do. The house is really comfortable, and the garden is a paradise full of fruit trees, and hammocks to lie in. The cat is adorable too, will be outside all day but is also cuddly when coming in. Then there's two guinea pigs, they're cute! The neighborhood is really nice, good for walking the dog, very close to the village Lesnica where you can find any shop, and super close to tramstop where a lot of trams per hour take you really cheap to Wroclaw city center, which is a beautiful city!!! Then there's a bike to use (or 2 if you are a couple), and it's a really good one, I loved jumping on the bike and just be free to go wherever I wanted; Lesnica and also Wroclaw center. So I highly recommend this housesit.

Fabulous people, Marvellous Cat
I had such a wonderful time house-sitting for Magda and Wawrzek. They're wonderful, kind and interesting people and I enjoyed spending time getting to know them before and after the sit. Their house is lovely, and the vegetable garden bountiful. It was in a really lovely and quiet neighbourhood, close to the tram (for easy access into Wroclaw's old town) and a delightful stroll or short tram ride into the cute little village of Lesnica. But the highlight was Mruczek. He's a great cat - independent but cuddly and affectionate too, when he wants to be. I had so much fun with him and miss him terribly. This is a great house and pet-sit. If you get the opportunity, take it.

Welcoming First Visit to Poland :)
This was our first visit to Poland and we felt extremely welcome in Magda & Lawrence's loving home. Lawrence picked us up at the Wroclaw bus station after our long journey from another part of the country. We met their lovely family which included their daughters and adorable pets. We also had the pleasure of meeting some of their friends who came over for dinner the night before our sit began. We felt very much at home and had a fantastic time getting to know everyone. During the sit, we only watched Mruczek, their friendly cat, and he was very easy to care for. He spent the majority of the day outside but came in when it was time to eat and at night before bed. He cuddled with us some during the evening and he was a very well-natured cat. A joy to spend some time with. We had a great location not too far outside of Old Town Wroclaw and we spent a few days exploring the city. It was fun searching for the dwarfs scattered around town. Beautiful architecture and some good spots for a local meal as well. Magda & Lawrence were very responsive to any questions we had during out stay and provided clear instructions for us upon our departure. It was a pleasure sitting for them :) We highly recommend sitting for Magda & Lawrence for a relaxing sit in one of Poland's beautiful cities!

Wonderful family! Great homestay!
Magdalena and Lawrence, with their two daughters, trusted me to care for their house and pets (dog Meksyk and cat Mruczek) while they were away on a much-anticipated family holiday. I was there in their Wroclaw home for a week, and the time just flew by. Meksyk loves any and all walks, and I took him out at least 3 times a day, sometimes more if he "asked" (nudged my elbow as I worked on computer). Mruczek has his favorite corners, but loves to come up and cuddle and be petted anytime. Both are the politest pets I have ever seen, and seem to understand everything you say. The house is sparkling, the kitchen is lovely, the yard is huge, and the whole area is very quiet and safe, though only a few minutes' walk from the tram stop. I was permitted to use the house wifi, and it was fine for my purposes. I got a lot done on computer that week, and still was able to slip downtown every couple of days. Anyone thinking to homestay here: this family gives excellent instructions, and is always available if any questions arise. Much obliged! and I hope I was everything you needed, Kubeczak family! I'd love to come again.
