About this assignment
Reliable, trust worthy individual or couple willing to care for our home and love our pets in our absence. Our main priority is caring for our pets. Five pets can be rime consuming so would prefer a couple and no one who is elderly
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding and caring for 2 dogs and 3 cats. Dogs are lab chow mix and german shepherd beagle mix. You do not have to walk them. Cats require food and litter box maintenance. They are indoors but like to go out on screened in porch. One cat is diabetic and requires oral medicine once daily in his food. Vegetable garden will require watering.
What are the good features of the property and location
Quiet neighborhood in small town. Good neighborhood for walking. Safe to go anywhere in town at any time. 15 minutes from larger city. Our home is comfortable and well maintained.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
All of our animals are spoiled and like attention.The dogs are used to getting up early. One cat is diabetic and requires oral medication once daily in his food. Arkansas weather in spring is usually pleasant for outdoor activities. We are called The Natural State due to lots of outdoor recreational opportunities. Great people.
Kathy and Larry were such nice people that we became instant friends and stayed that way. They live on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood. We found the most wonderful water mill and park really close to their house. It was one of our favorite places to visit during our time there. One of our dog friends is now deceased, but they had really nice cats and a very friendly lab mix named Brutus.The house is a smaller one so you will be in close proximity to the pets, but there are two levels in case you need space. We would return to this house sit, and we are glad to recommend these people to any other housesitters.
