A considerate single or couple who love dogs & the countryside also be reasonably practical if any problems occur. Must be fit/active & be prepared to walk at least two miles a day.
We have a young Labrador retriever who will require a long walk every day whatever the pennine weather has to offer! she is still young & whilst obedient only needs the slightest of destractions, dog, sheep etc. so has to be kept on the lead.
Our three bed detached house sits in beautiful open countryside overlooking the local beauty spot of Hardcastle Craggs, it is two miles from Hebden Bridge & close to Haworth, Skipton etc. The property is accessed by a private track set away from the nearest road next to a footpath which gives access to open moorland, it sits in its own grounds & is very peaceful & quiet. The nearest small town of Hebden Bridge has won a number of national awards & has many bars & restaurants.
The property is situated away from local amenities so a car would be essential, a good level of fitness is required as the area is in the Pennine hills & our dog needs regular exercise. The property stands on its own & is very quiet so townies beware! It has it's own water supply which is treated on entering the property.
No, sorry.

Best ever housesit
The house, the area, the animals and the owners were my favourite house sit so far and I have been housesitting for over 2 years! Meg is the most adorable dog and I miss her terribly. Mark and Jan made me feel that their house was a home from home. The area is simply gorgeous to explore, so much so that I am seriously considering moving there.
