4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats
You should have experience in caring for horses, dogs and cats. You should like to live in the countryside. If something breaks, we would like you to be able to find working solutions. You should have references.
He/she has to care for 4 horses, 4 dogs and 3 cats, and water the trees, if necessary. Care for the animals means to give them food and water, clean them.
The house has to be cleaned regularely.
The trees are mostly connected to a watering system so you only need to open the water tap.
The house has town water, electricity, internet, is fully furnished, with washing mashine, refrigerator, microwave etc. The location is in the countryside, it is quiet, has marvelous views, in the afternoon is shadow on the terrace. There is a bus passing nearby several times a day, which goes to the next village and the next town and back. The weather is mostly fine. In summer we have a dry heat. In winter we have electrical heating and a stove to burn wood. We have about 2 ha land, so we have enough space for the horses to run around. The house is small. It is good for 1 or 2 persons, but not for a family. It does not have a swimming pool.
The house sitter can go for daily sightseeing tours, but should come home in the evening, because the animals have to be fed. For insurance reasons our car cannot be used by other people, but there are cheap possibilities to rent cars. We do not have a swimming pool. There is a heated swimming pool in Pizarra, about 5 km from us. We will make a written agreement with the sitter. Smoking in the house is not permitted.Nonsmokers and nondrinkers are preferred.
No, sorry.

Great Finca near Malaga, friendly animals and owner
This was my first house sit at all and I have been there again. The place is a nice little finca, near Malaga, which you can even see. The finca is in an remote area, on top of the hills with a great view, huge land, great walking areas and a couple of nice animals. The dogs and horses are friendly, well behaved, the work is easy going, the instructions are detailed and clear. Ruth and I are still in contact.
