We are in a rural location, 15 minutes drive from our nearest town with supermarkets including Aldi, banks, fuel, restaurants, pharmacies and cinema. One hours drive from Albufeira on the Algarve and an hours drive from the stunning west coast. We have a large swimming pool and a hot spa tub.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must, must must love living with dogs as we have 8 rescue dogs!!
Who are very friendly and loving but need to be loved back to!!
If you do like dogs then you will love it here.

A wonderful time in our lives

Julie and Glynn, a couple who love animals and people. They help animals sacrificially, even at the expense of their health. Julie & Glynn feel responsible and generous towards their guests as well, and they call friends , people who love animals as much as they do. We consider staying with them and taking care of their beloved pets as a wonderful time in our lives. Jozef & Bogusia

Real life farm-sit experience

We had an amazing house sit experience on Glynn and Julie's farm looking after all their fantastic animals. Glynn and Julie are really lovely people, they are generous and kind, welcoming and friendly, nice to be around and fun. While there are quite a few tasks required in the day to day running of the farm, Glynn and Julie had us well prepared as they took us through each individual job, allowed us to do it ourselves and answered any questions that we had. We arrived two days before our house sit commenced and we would recommend the same to future house sitters so that you are comfortable and prepared with the job ahead. All the animals on the farm are wonderful, they will become your friends, you will get up each morning and be excited to see them. They have eight adorable dogs, each with their own lovable character and if you are a doggy person, they will be an absolute pleasure for you to look after. They are very well behaved and their dinner time routine goes like clockwork. The rest of the animals which include sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turtles and a very intelligent and lovable pig are easy to care for and require no more than a couple of hours work each day. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity house sit, that will reward you with a unique adventure, with interesting animals in a beautiful, tranquil location. If you are not afraid to put on a pair of boots and get your hands a little bit dirty then this is the house sit for you.. Money can't buy a real life experience like this. Thank you Glynn and Julie.
