About this assignment
My cat, Spätzle, is a 16 year old fit lady, no health issues. But she hates the kennels! Since I am having to travel a lot more nowadays due to family issues I am looking for someone to stay at my apartment when I'm away - just to keep her company really so that I don't have to take her to kennels every time.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Just be there, give Spätzle her food and clean her toilet. She will probably keep a save distance anyway. I just don't want her to be all alone. You can be her entertainment by letting her study you ;-) And if you want to water the plants now and again, that would be fab, too.
What are the good features of the property and location
Great location in a popular holiday area, right on the Costa Blanca. My apartment is not a luxurious place, but a simple, nice, comfortable place with nice views. Friends and family say that "it has a nice feel to it". In 5-10 minutes in the car you are either in the very popular town "Moraira" or "Javea".
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Public transport options are poor or not available. So I would recommend that you have a car. It's an apartment with balconies, but no garden or swimming pool. I have German and Spanish TV (not English) and streaming. Good WIFI.
Can I bring my own pets?

Very good experience
I petsat at Stefanie's apartment for ten days in February. We were able to communicate well before my arrival and she was very welcoming and gave good advices upon my arrival. Her cat is not the cuddly type, much to my regret. But we had a few “conversations” and it looks like she liked having a presence. The apartment is very comfortable and I felt very good there. From the bedroom, the view is magnificent and I could even see the sea in the distance. There are very pretty places to visit around. Thank you again Stefanie for your trust and for giving me the opportunity to discover this region.

Friendly and welcoming
This was our first experience on MindMyHouse, and it was great. Stefanie was very communicative, clear about what needed to be done in her home and for her cat, and even gave us some tips on where to go and eat during our stay.
