I can give sitters all necessary info about the dogs and our home prior to arrival. Our black dog Darcy gets yumove tablets each morning for her knees. The other one, Bailey, gets a calming tablet to manage car sickness and Antihistamine for allergies.
We are looking for someone who loves dogs, has experience with them and will be good to them, who will not use harmful techniques for obedience and will not hit them. Someone who will play with, cuddle with, and walk with our dogs and will follow our routines. Sometime trustworthy who will care for our home, keep it clean and in the same order it is found on arrival
Caring for our pups is key. Be gentle with them, walk them, follow our routine and have fun with them.
Watering plants may be required.
Keep the house clean and tidy and in good order and clean up after yourself.
We are only 15 minutes from Belfast City centre by bus, 5 minute walk to a bus stop / 12 minute walk to a train station.
Accessible to all amenities. Lots of parks and nature nearby for walking / cycling / running.
Quiet residential neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. Nearby supermarkets, restaurants, takeaways, pharmacies.
Decently sized home with front and back garden that both get the sun all day while inside the house remains cool, lots of recent refurbishments
Our dogs are fine to be left home for approximately 6 hours during the day, giving sitters the opportunity to explore Belfast. However, they must not be locked into their crates for hours on end or repeatedly throughout the day. They require lots of freedom out of their crates. They need at least 2 x 30 min walks per day (morning and evening) plus shorter walks for the toilet if you're going out or going to bed.
We try to make our home as comfortable, inviting, and welcoming as possible for guests so we appreciate it being treated with care. We also appreciate consideration of our neighbours, with noise managed and no late night loud noise, no extra guests that haven't been agreed and no parties. Thank you
No, sorry.

Belfast
Jeanine and Joe picked me up from city airport and welcomed me to their home. They are experienced sitters themselves so had a comprehensive printout of Darcy and Baileys routine and instructions for using the utilities.Walking the girls and snuggling up on the couch at night was great. There's a bus stop 5 mins away that drops you at the town hall in Belfast centre. Lots of Old pubs to try, one on the weekend had a ukelali group taking over the outside garden. So much street art to see. Jeanine was available at all times in whatsapp if I had any questions and drove me to the airport the morning I left. Highly recommend this sit if you're journeying to NI. Thank you both.

Belfast Beauties
This has been a perfect sit for us. Jeanine and Joe are superfriendly and welcoming people. The communication was fast and Jeanine did her best to provide us with tourist information and answered all my questions. She responded very quick at my messages. Their dogs are sweet, cute and easy to take care of. A rather big supermarket was at walkable distance and it was just one busride away to the vibrant city of Belfast. ( about 20 minutes). There are lots of places to see in Belfast and around, so we really enjoyed this summersit. We had very sunny wheater but the house was nice and cool. The house is in an quiet residential area. We can recommend this sit for 100 %.
