Sunny St Pete Florida with Sweet Ripley

About this assignment

We are looking for an individual or couple to care for our sweet Ripley like they would their own pet. She is a 1 year old lab mix who loves snuggling and kisses. While staying here, you will enjoy one of the sunniest cities in the US (361 days/year of sunshine) and some of the best beaches in the country - St Pete/Clearwater.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Ripley goes out for a walk first thing in the morning to do her business. Then she likes to play in our private dog park a couple times a day. She can be walked or hang in the dog park 4-5 times per day and should go out closer to bed time. She can walk as much as you'd like. But she doesn't really like the sun and heat so the morning and evening walks are the best for her..

She will sleep in the bed with you. This is a must! She will also want to snuggle on the couch with you.

We ask that you don't leave her home alone for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time. St Pete is very dog friendly so there are many places to eat and drink where you can take her.

We have a few plants to be watered. We also ask that you bring in our mail daily.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in the very hip Grand Central District in downtown St Pete. There are dozens of restaurants, breweries, wine bars, art galleries, and vintage shops within blocks of our home. It's super walkable! The downtown Bayfront area is only a 5 min drive to reach the museums like The Dali, The Museum of Fine Arts, The Chihuly and more. Also, we are only a 5 min drive to the world famous St Pete Pier. We are a 15 min drive to the beautiful St Pete beaches and all of the beachy stores and restaurants. The Pinellas Trail is only a few blocks away for cycling, walking, running, rollerblading, etc.

Our home is a 3-story new construction townhome. We have 3 BR and 3.5 BA. One bedroom serves as a home office. The other two bedrooms have king size beds and large screen TVs. Our townhome community has it's own private dog park. We also have a beautiful roof deck with amazing views of the skyline. The kitchen is equipped for the chef and foodies.

The neighborhood is very safe, walkable and bikeable. Our home is very quiet inside but the neighborhood has great energy.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must allow Ripley to sleep in bed with you and snuggle on couch with you. Must not leave her alone for more than 3 hours. Must give her unlimited treats and cookies. Must be willing to take her out with you to parks and pet-friendly restaurants and breweries.

We do not permit smoking of any kind in the home. You may have visitors, but no large/loud parties.

Can I bring my own pets?
