Sitter for a a month starting June 13 2025 right in the Center of Ireland 3km from Lough Ree . Rural setting ,farmhouse type .A variety of animals and birds to mind but not labour intensive.

About this assignment

Looking for someone who will respect the integrity of my home while enjoying the setting and the peace of the place and the countryside around it . The sit only involves feeding of poultry daily. This takes less than an hour. The rest of the day is free

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The sitters will have to maintain feed hoppers for the various fowl and Alpaca. Most important is to keep them watered . Have a collection of owls that need daily ( or once per two days)feeding.
My routine of daily chores takes a half hour to an hour per day.

What are the good features of the property and location

Location is central, very private.
15 minute drive from Athlone town and the Shannon. The house is an old style stone fronted home. It is lived in and has a lovely vibe.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Biggest consideration is transport. There is a local bus service and good train service .
A love for animals is a must. I am hoping to get a car for the sitter to use
