About this assignment

Someone who is responsible in looking after horses and likes taking a dog for walks,
I live in a pleasant village called Galan with farm land allaround . One can see the Pyrenees mountains from the house up stairs.
I have a TV, WiFi, washing machine, modern oven and hob, dish washer, hairdrier. central heating, recorder player.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after my two horses, one that requires medication, skipping out the field, which I have a machine for. Taking my German Shepherd for walks and feeding him. He loves people and company!
Cutting the grass on the ride on or hand mower if possible.

What are the good features of the property and location

My house is just outside the village of Galan, in the Haute Pyrenees the mountains can be seen from the house. I am surrounded by farmland so tractors come and go. I am not remote and the nearby village is within walking distance and has a small supermarket and pharmacy. There is also a very famous restaurant nearby. Two bigger towns are a 15 minute drive away. I’m also just 40 minutes from Lourdes airport and the Pyrenees with Toulouse airport a 2hr drive.
There are plenty of walks locally and lakes to swim in.
I also have English TV and fast WiFi.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You would either need to bring a car or you may borrow mine if you don’t mind dropping me at Lourdes airport 40 mins away as, there no buses to visit further afield.
I have a new modern kitchen, and utility room.
I have security gates and the garden is fenced. i also have a camera so you can see who is at the gate.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: I ask that you are a non smoker.
