October 10th- October 20th Dog Sitter Needed in Brooklyn, NY (NYC)

About this assignment

I'm looking for someone to come stay with my dog From October 10th to October 20th. She's a 6 year old poodle and alright being along during the day and I just need someone to keep her company at night so this could be great for an individual that wants to go out and explore all the fun things NYC has to offer.

Please note, I live in a two-bedroom apartment with a roommate who will be around for part of this week. She is quiet and not around much but I need someone who will be respectful of that. You will have full access to the livingroom and kitchen. My bedroom is over 150 squarefeet, has an ensuite bathroom, and a television and can be locked both from the inside and outside for privacy. Because of this situation I am looking for an individual only.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will need to make sure she has food and water. Due to agoraphobia, she is litterbox trained, so you will also need to clean thexlitterbug. Because she is agoraphobic she will not (and should not) be walked regularly so you have a lot of flexibility to be out and about.

What are the good features of the property and location

My apartment is located only about a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Prospect Park. It is also right on the subway and an easy commute to basically anywhere in the city.

You'll have access to one bedroom with a queen sized bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, a full sized kitchen, and our livingroom outfitted with all the streaming services. There is also laundry in building.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

My dog is very sweet but as a rescue she can be a little anxious so some patience may be required. She may snuggle up with you on the couch or she she may want to chill alone by herself—but she'll be glad you're there either way!
