1 tiny village house in eastern Crete with 2 cats and a garden

About this assignment

Someone who will happily look after my garden and cats. Who will be content to stay in a small Greek village, with towns and beaches a short car or bus ride away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mainly they will be feeding two cats, a number of fish and watering the garden. Also shopping for cat food and paying some of the bills.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is a tiny village house in a very friendly village. It has off road parking. The garden is pretty and private. It overlooks the sea and a small fishing village which is just a short drive away. The snorkeling there is brilliant as are the tavernas and bars. The three largest towns within easy reach all have good beaches and a relaxing atmosphere. It is easy to fall in love with the area.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

There is only one bedroom with two single beds pushed together. The cooker is powered by bottled gas, which may need changing. There is however an electric oven. The village is quiet, but there are two kafenions, one taverna and one shop. Sitters from the U.K. can only stay in Greece for 90 days. A couple may wish to stay recurrently with another couple.
