Cat and Dog are looking for awesome pet/housesitter on Langeland

About this assignment

We are looking for a reliable, mature, experienced, non smoking and animal loving housesitter! Ideally you have some house sitter experience and a police check.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To care for our 4 year old Golden Retriever Caesar and 14 year old Ocicat Kiya,(our cat is an indoor cat only!) in our old villa with a large backyard . Priority are our animals, eg that they are not left alone for longer periods. They are both very affectionate and get on very well with each other. Caesar needs regular walks or plays. He hates bad weather and when heavy raining he will only go out quickly to do his business and then rush back to the sofa or in front of the wood heater. Both have special food and get fed throughout the day with small meals. Caesar is well trained and walks well on the leash. Kiya is very affectionate and loves cuddles. Both sleep on sofas and in bed!

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house is in the north of Langeland in a small village. However you can walk/cycle to the local bakery and grocery shop. It is close to the forest, beach and local harbour. Rudkøbing is about 25 minute by car or 30 min by bus. Langeland is connected via a bridge with Fyn. The house is heated via central heating and wood heater. It has a large fenced backyard.There is also a gym about 8 minutes away by car. Car will be available during your housesit.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are looking for a house sitter in January and ideally you would arrive a couple of days before the housesit eg 09.01 or 10.01 (we have a small apartment downstairs, where you could stay then). Lohals and Langeland are very quiet and peaceful in the wintertime. If you are interested, we would love to get to know you via a facetime call.
