Studio on the sea

About this assignment

I need someone to look after my two cats and hens.

I have recently completed the renovation of a studio and this would be where housesitters will stay. It's like a holiday let with everything you need and my studio will be open too, so if you haven't got what you need in the smaller one you'll find it in mine. I've got a bath and shower on my deck too... The studio is heated by a woodburning stove, and electricity. There is a compost loo and electric shower.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Just to care for the house, my two delightful cats and any hens i might have.

Depending on the time of year, there may be some watering or a little mowing, but it's just paths as I'm in the rainforest.

What are the good features of the property and location

Amazing location on the sea in an ancient rainforest. Spectacular views. Beautiful studio. Tarbert is a sweet harbour fishing village on the Kintyre peninsular. Great access to the islands - the ferries to both Gigha and Arran are a very short drive away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

They should be fit and able. I am a mile from the village of Tarbert Argyll. So a car is handy. Otherwise you have to walk.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
