About this assignment

We are looking for someone who loves animals and enjoys the mountains. Preferably, we are seeking someone who does not have very young children. We like children, but the black and white kitten is very afraid of them.
We also want sitters to take care of our place as if it were their own.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The sitter needs to walk the dogs daily, at least twice a day, morning and night. Both are very good and sociable. The cats do not go outside, so they need to be fed and their litter boxes cleaned. Two of the cats are very sociable and affectionate, so they will seek attention, but there is a third cat that doesn't like to be touched and hides inside the sofa. This one just needs to be left alone, nothing more.
We have family and friends who live in Puigcerdà. They can help you if you need it.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a high mountain village with excellent transportation connections.
Our apartment is located in the center of Puigcerdà and has spectacular views. The apartment has been completely renovated and features an open kitchen to the living room with a terrace. Puigcerdà is the capital of Cerdanya, a very touristic region in the Catalan Pyrenees. It boasts the highest number of sunny hours in all of Europe. In winter, we have snow, and in summer, a very pleasant climate and temperature.
Puigcerdà is on the border with France and is 2 hours away from Barcelona. We also have Andorra very close by, less than an hour away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Sitters need to be aware that they will be living with 5 animals, therefore there's plenty of lose hair all around. All of them are very affectionate and seek attention, so they may want to be close to you all the time. If you love animals, we are sure that none of this will bother you :)
