Couple in the Hague with 1 cat looking for caring cat sitter/s

About this assignment

We are looking for someone who loves, cares and can connect with cats. We would prefer someone who has had a cat before and feels comfortable around them.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter will be responsible for taking care of the cat: feeding him, cleaning his litter box (although he barely uses it because he prefers going outside), playing with him and watering the plants (only once a week).

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in the Hague, a very multicultural city full of landmarks and places to visit. It's a great city to do sightseeing and cycle. We live very close to city center (5 minutes by bike) but the neighbourhood is very quiet. We are also 20 minutes (by bike or tram) away from the beach and 15 minutes away from the woods. There are also beautiful villages nearby where you can go by bike like Delft or Leiden. Amsterdam is one hour away by train and Rotterdam 15 minutes.
Our house is very spatious and luminous with an open kitchen and living room and upstairs there is one bedroom. We love music and reading so there is a piano and several guitars, banjos and books in the house.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have an orange cat who is very playful and likes to go outside. House sitters should devote some time to play with him, cuddle him and not let him out at night.
