About this assignment

Someone who loves animals, enjoys rural walks and is happy to allow it pets to get to know them, chill out with them and enjoy the living that they will give you!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have 2 very different sized dogs (the little one IS the boss, obviously!) who are both pretty laid back once they get to know you.

We also have one cat who can be very vocal, very woody but definitely knows that a cats "job" is to be waited upon! Food, cosy bed, food, attention, food, go outside...... Food..... I'm sure you get the message !

What are the good features of the property and location

A beautiful, solidly built old house (the old Mairie apparently) which we have been renovating to being 21st Century style and comfort whilst retaining the old charm & character.

The village has everything you need to live here, if you don't have a vehicle. We have a Boulangerie, Épicerie, Pharmacy, Doctors, we are served by food trucks on at least 2 days a week plus a visiting Boucher on Wednesdays.

If you do have transport, there are many more options with varying sized towns and cities, from 10 minutes to an hour away, with various sizes supermarkets, bars, restaurants, cafes and everything else you want/need.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our pets are all rescue cases. They have personalities that have been helped along with love, patience and positive responses. We would like you to have that same attitude towards looking after them.

They are pretty easy going, they have routines that they know and are happy with. Ideally we would like to have at least a whole day in the house with you, so that we can help them get to know you, and you can get to see our routines.

Can I bring my own pets?
