House sit in a family home in Chichester with two loving cats and two adorable bunnies

About this assignment

We are looking for a singler person, couple or a small family to look after our treasured pets over the school holidays. We are keen that the sitter(s) are animal lovers as our adored cats and rabbits are loving and enjoy lots of cuddles.

We are new to mind my house.com however, have had many positive house sits from other websites in the past.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Each morning and evening the cats need feeding. Other than that, they pretty much look after themselves. Our rabbits stay inside at night and are let out each morning to be fed. If it is cold, they may want to come back in - generally they stay in thier indoor hutch but they do also venture into the living room occasionally. The rabbits must be brought back into the house once it is dark. The may then roam a little in the house but they have an indoor hutch that they will sleep in.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house benefits from a gorgous new hot tub set at 40 degrees!

We live on the outskirsts of the beautiful city of Chichester, just 10 - 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The city has lots of market town style shops and a Cathedral. The surrounding area offers wonderful coastal walks in an area of outstanding natural beauty as well are more energetic walks and trails in the South Downs. From Chichester it is easy to explore Brighton (45 mins drive) and London (1.5 hours on the train).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Because there are animals, we would require house sitters to be present each night. If you are out and are not coming back till after dark, we would ask that you keep the rabbits in the house, or ask one of our friendly neighbours to get the rabbits in at dusk.
