House sitter to look after our 2 dogs for 3 weeks in Feb 2025 in the UK (near London)

About this assignment

Someone who is confident and comfortable looking after / making a fuss of our dogs. This would suit someone who likes exploring the beautiful countryside, towns and villages of the local area whilst having easy train links to London. There are plenty of local restaurants to enjoy too. Car driver preferred.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Primarily to look after the house, to water the pot plants and most importantly to look after our 2 dogs including taking them on daily local walks.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a semi-detached extended house on a quiet residential road on the edge of Chalfont St Peter. It has off street parking at the front and a large patio and small garden at the rear. It is a handy location to go into London by train (30 mins) or to explore the beautiful Chiltern hills, towns, villages and pubs. There is a footpath nearby to reach the local countryside (the photo of the dogs was taken there).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

They need to be dog lovers and be willing to prioritise their needs particularly the older dog who is deaf and a little slow moving, but otherwise she is in very good health.
