Walking distance to the beach in Costa Rica-flexible summer dates

About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible couple- (age 25+) to take care of our two 14kg dogs for at least one month between May and July. We would like house sitters who are communicative and happy to provide regular updates.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our dogs need to be walked one time per day for at least 45 minutes, fed once a day, and given lots of love. Our dogs can stay home alone for 6-8 hours, so there will be opportunities to get out and experience the area!

What are the good features of the property and location

House: New 3-bedroom build with a pool and AC. Restaurants and supermarket are within walking distance.
Jungle: We're on the southern pacific side of Costa Rica, where May-July is usually the perfect mix of rain and sunshine. There will be opportunities for wildlife sightings (doing one of the many tours is your best bet!), waterfalls, and ocean views from the forested mountains nearby.
Beach: This home is a 7 minute walk from the pristine beach. It's a national park, so no dogs are allowed on the beach and there's a $7 entrance fee. Yes, it's a bit different from other beaches because there's a fee, but it's always clean, safe, and there is so much tree shade to relax under because the vegetation is protected. There are other free beaches that are a 10-minute drive away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The town and area we live in has a ton to offer, but many of the activities are not centralized. Ideally, you would rent a car to be able to explore the area to the fullest.

Walking the dogs: Our dogs pull on their leashes and bark at passing dogs. If this makes you uncomfortable, please don't apply.
