Galilea is very human-friendly and sociable in general, though not too frienldly with other dogs in her house.

I need a reliable person or two to look after my dog Galilea and my house while I'm gone. I'll be gone on a couple of short trips in February and March of 2025, and may be away for longer periods in the summer for work.
Feed Galilea, take her for walks, play in the yard, or otherwise keep her company, and make sure the house is OK in winter. Normally there's nothing to do, but if the electricity were to go off the sitter would need to be able to build fires in the wood stove(s) so the pipes won't freeze.
It's a large, comfortable house in a friendly, quiet neighborhood in Bath, a small city on the coast of Maine about 40 minutes north of Portland.
The only things I can think of are that it's challenging (not impossible, but difficult) to live here without a car (it's about a mile and a half to downtown), and someone would need to be willing and able to light a fire in a stove if the power went off in winter, It's unlikely, but if it did it would be important to keep the house warm.
No, sorry.
