We are looking for dog lovers to care for our 11 yr old labrador and a young bouvier appenzell for one week 13-20 May 2025

About this assignment

Ideally a couple of dog lovers. A car is a must or we can lend one but it will be necessary to drive as the nearest shops are 4km from the house. We have adopted a labrador cross of 11 yrs old and in May our new female bouvier puppy will have arrived and training will already have started. There are woods close by for wonderful walks and also a swimming pool in a large garden surrounded by fields.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk the dogs, feed the dogs and hopefully continue the small amount of training of the puppy. We are only absent for one week and will do the serious training upon our return. The dogs need company and love but there will also be rules that they have to abide by.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is large, the garden is large and fenced in, surrounded by fields and then woods, in a peaceful setting. There is good internet connection.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You must love dogs and also be prepared to live with a young dog still on the learning curve. Daily walks will be necessary otherwise time spent playing with them in the garden will be great.
