We're looking for an experienced and conscientious sitter who is comfortable with young and active dogs. We are experienced home exchangers on a different platform, but we're expanding to Mind My House to find possible pet sitters interested in spending time in Nashville. We'd want someone who loves to be around dogs, will keep us updated on their wellbeing and is conscientious of leaving our home as they found it.
We have two dogs but typically the eldest travels with us or is cared for by family as she is now 11 years old. We are typically in need of a pet sitter for Gus, an adolescent Brittany spaniel. He is very sweet and has a lot of energy to get out, so he needs at least a daily walk and playtime. We have a fully fenced backyard for fetch, etc, though we stress that the dogs should not be left outside alone for any extended period of time. We'd also ask for some minimal plant watering.
Our home is a small historic cottage located in east Nashville, walkable to some of the best restaurants and venues in the city. There is a bus stop on our street as well for exploring further into the city. We are also walking distance to a beautiful, large public park and greenway for walking, running or biking.
We prefer the dog is not left for longer than 6-hour stretches so please do not apply if you feel you will be traveling beyond Nashville proper during your stay. Our home is well-cared for, but it's also an older historic cottage and doesn't have luxury features.
No, sorry.
