Reliable, friendly animal lover who is trustworthy and happy to take care of our fur babies! We also have some balcony plants to water, so if you have a green thumb, even better :) Honestly everything in our house is pretty easy though !

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk the dog once a day - or if no walks, play plenty of fetch with him in the yard! Dog eats three times a day, turkey/veggie mix mornings and evenings, kibbles at lunch. Can skip lunch and mix in kibbles at breakfast/dinner if needed, but be sure to take him out for a potty break at least twice a day.

Cat just needs her dry food and water checked and topped off daily as needed. Can give a can of wet food once a day.

What are the good features of the property and location

Amazing location in Woodland Hills! Large property with private garden, easy access to the beach, Ventura County, as well as everything the city of Los Angeles has to offer. Private guest room for petsitter features queen size bed, private restroom, television, and access to yard.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Rory (dog) is about 40 pounds, so you need to be able to be confident walking him on the leash. He's not terrible but he may test you and pull a bit. Rory likes most people and we have treats you can give him to help him behave on walks and also to help you establish a relationship with him if he gets nervous - he does occasionally get scared of large men. Women and smaller men are preferred sitters for that reason, but we've seen him do great with big guys too who are animal people!
