Dog Sitters needed in Spain 12th March to 16th April 2025

About this assignment

I have just had a knee replacement operation and I need someone to come and live in our guest house who is able to walk our dogs twice a day for an hour each walk.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walking the dogs and caring for the house that they are living in. There is a wood burning stove which is the main source of heating so experience of this type of heating would be good.

What are the good features of the property and location

Recently refurbished house, wood burner, modern kitchen & bathroom. The house is located in Mondujar one of the the villages which make up Lecrin. The house is within walking distance of banks, supermarkets, bars, and bakeries. The nearest town is Durcal which is a 5 minute drive and has a supermarket and other larger shops and restaurants.
Lecrin is in Granada province and is a 25 minute drive from Granada city and a 25 minute drive to the coast - Costa Tropical. It is a renowned area of natural beauty famous for it's oranges.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Previous dog care experience and ability to walk twice daily. The two dogs, Cassie and Pablo are 4 and 7 respectively, they are spirited and loving pets. Experience in walking dogs is essential.
