About this assignment

We are looking for someone friendly and kind, who loves animals to come into our home and look after it whilst we are away. Someone who is reliable and trustworthy

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

They will need to feed and look after our 2 dogs, 3 cats and tropical fish.

They will need to walk our two dogs, Scooby age 12 and Nugget age 1 who are both English cocker spaniels. They don't need big walks just a couple of trips a day outside is great.

The cats are usually outside in the mountains as we live on a beautiful alpine valley. They do come in for food and love a good cuddle.

The fish just need a pinch of food everyday. There is no need to do anything else.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a Ski resort. Morzine Avoriaz. Morzine closes on the 6th April. Avoriaz is open until the 21st April. We are on a bus line into town then you can get a bus to Avoriaz. There of lots of restaurants and bars in town and we are very close to multiple supermarkets. We are on the beautiful Valley de la Manche. One minute walking from our front door and your are in the mountains and there are some beautiful hikes. We are in the Haute Savoie department which is also very beautiful and has lots to offer. The gorgeous lake Annecy and Lac Leman. We are just over one hour from Geneva airport.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are taking our car with us on holiday so cannot leave a vehicle behind. There is a bus route every 30 minutes but I would recommend hiring a car at the airport. Or you can get a transfer from the airport and then you can simply catch the bus around if you want to stay in resort.
