Long term sitting, best cat ever

About this assignment

Someone who is reliable, has previous experience with cats, who is respectful to the neighbours, can keep the place clean + tidy and water my plants.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

While I am abroad, cuddling the cat, making sure she comes in (during the day she can go out), she has food and water and keeping the house and garden safe, clean and tidy.

What are the good features of the property and location

Great location: S-bahn station close - only 12 minutes to walk, as well as all major grocery shops (Kaufland, dm and Denns (bio)) are reachable in about 2 walking minutes. Next Tram is 10 min. by car. It would take you 25 minutes by train to Hauptbahnhof (main train station Cologne) and 1 hour by train to the airport.
There are some small lakes nearby. It would take you 30 min. to the "Bergisches Land". The landscape is shaped by forests, meadows, rivers and creeks and contains over twenty artificial lakes and is therefore ideal for long walks. 1 hour to the Eifel.
You may use my bicycle.
Cologne as a cultural center is nice and has a lot to visit for every kind of taste.
The area is quiet and you have a beautiful view to the garden.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Available between (5-)10 November 2025 to 15 April 2026 (start+end are little flexible). In winter an ideal opportunity to experience the local Christmas markets or visiting one of the most beautiful Spas in Germany: Mediterana, just 15 min. driving away.
For safety reasons there is a indoor camera available, if you need to leave.

I prefer personal contact for the handover and to get to know each other. Please only apply if you are available for the keys handover and to explain the house and surrounding before Nov. 2025.

I would like a 50 % share of the monthly ancillary costs = €200
