About this assignment

Hi, we're a family looking for someone to look after our flat while we're on holiday - feed cat, water plants, keep the house tidy and secure. We're happy for you to socialise, but preferably no big parties. The flat would suit a single person, couple or small family.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our cat Richard loves cuddles! You'll need to feed him once or twice daily, and clear litter tray if needed. The house plants and garden would need watering a few times (depending on rain).

What are the good features of the property and location

The flat is comfortable, airy and spacious, with one main bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room, and a kitchen/diner.. There is a garden with a patio seating area and picnic table, and a dedicated office room in the garden. We have wifi and streaming channels you can use. We are on a quiet residential road 5 minutes walk from Bowes Park station, with a line from Hertfordshire to central London (Moorgate in 25 minutes), and 10 minutes from Bounds Green Piccadilly line tube. Myddleton Road with shops, bars, cafes and eating spots is two minutes away, and more shops and supermarkets within 20 mins. There are great parks and green spaces nearby including Alexandra Palace.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our cat is low maintenance and very friendly, but can occasionally get anxious when we go away which means he may go to the toilet inside (instead of outside as usual) - you may need to use the litter tray or clear up accidents.
