House sitters for Northern Brisbane required

About this assignment

A retired couple who has current Police Checks, and who can be trusted to mind our house and garden plus our 2 x 3year old schitzu pups. They are house trained, very affectionate, and loves company and their daily walks.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Maintain the house, water the garden, harvest any vegies that are ready to pick, walk, feed and water our dogs and care for them.

What are the good features of the property and location

it is on the north side of Brisbane. The location is great as its only 20 mins from Brisbane Airport, is 5 mins from main freeways north and south and is located close to great shopping, medical and recreational facilities
The house is well set up with ceiling fans, air-conditioning, copious amounts of vegetables and fruits and herbs, secure fencing, nice neighbours.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have had house sitters before when we owned a B&B in Tassie and Whitsundays, so we have developed a draft agreement which clearly sets out expectations and responsibilities. We also have close family living nearby to support house sitters in case of any issues.
We prefer retired couple who are non-smokers. Whilst the home facilities and utilities (including cable broadband internet) are available to use, house sitters need to provide their own food whilst staying here.

Can I bring my own pets?
