Large modern new home at The Gap Brisbane w Winnie the loveable wolfhound X

About this assignment

We are a family of five living in The Gap, Brisbane.
We are heading abroad for 5 weeks from mid-March are looking for a dog lover to mind our sweet and plafyul, Winnie, our 4 year old Irish Wolfhound X.

Winnie, is a friendly gal who loves her daily walks and a game of tug-of-way, otherwise is pretty chilled and content to sleep the day away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Caring for Winnie includes meals and taking her for a daily walk or two. There are parks by our home including an off-leash area to the back of our home.
Watering plants and possibly mowing small yard. The pool largely cares for itself.

No maintenance other than keeping the home clean and tidy as you go. Otherwise, turn on the robovac and relax.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is a large modern new build with plunge pool/ minimal yard and gardens.

We have all the streaming services and music to enjoy.

We live in The Gap that is only 8 kms from the Brisbane CBD with bus stops a short stroll from our home. Local shops with all you would need are a short bus ride or drive (5 mins) away. There is also a Health and Racquet Club with cafe, tennis/ pickle ball courts, and 24 hour gym a short 5 min walk from our home.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would prefer a dog lover that will care for Winnie and keep her company while we are away. Winnie is not an anxious dog and is happy to be left on her own but would prefer someone home to chill with.

Otherwise, nothing else springs to mind - easy peasey.
