About this assignment
We would like a mature person or couple to stay in our annexe and basically look after the 2 very friendly dogs for about a couple of weeks during your stay. We would also like a practical person who is used to looking after a house and garden and possibly likes and understands gardening.The ideal person should be happy to relax and enjoy the house and garden and keep in touch in touch with me. As we like to have someone on the property, this house sitter would ideally be working from home and going out occasionally.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The dogs need feeding once a day. A little watering as most of it is done via an automatic watering system. To keep an eye on the house and garden and make sure everything is running well.Plus pulling out a few weeds and a little pruning if you want.
What are the good features of the property and location
We are 20kms from Rome and there is even the metro 2kms away. However it is peaceful and the thing we enjoy most is our outdoor kitchen and views over the Roman countrside
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
We are not in the centre of Rome but 2km from the metro and there are two food shops close to the house. The house in about 40 square metres with a good kitchen. You are also welcome to use our outside kitchen. There is a bus that takes you to the metro. I am more than happy for you to go out but would prefer you to spend lots of time at home. This would suit someone who works from home. The dates are flexible

Magical garden with two little angels
This was my first house sit and i am overwhelmed with happiness. The place was a beautiful villa with a magical, lush , green and fresh garden with huge trees, fruittrees, a little creek and groups of parrots flying by. All the fruits were mine to eat.Liza and Toni and their big Italian familia are all extremly warm and welcoming and helpful people.I was showered with open-hearted hospitality, food , wine and happiness. And the sweet loveballs of liltle love angels in white fur,named Yoda and Nanuk made me feel at home and loved from the first moment on.I spend two months in bliss in a secret garden with two sweet angel dogs.I can not even start to explain, how grateful i am about this wonderful experience.I had so much peaceful time to work on my project and on myself.There are friendly neighbours around, but i never saw anyone close to the lower , magical garden, so you wil be alone there, good for meditation, yoga or just lying in the grass, watching the stars. Lavender, Rosmarin, Orgeano, Thyme etc. is growing to flavour your food and the air. A place with amazing energy to heal and ground yourself. The time here refreshed me through deep relaxation and when ever i needed assistance, there was immediately help, ( dentist ) because Liza will keep in nice contact with you to make sure, you got everything you need.Also there is a cleaning lady one time the week. Liza picked me up from the airport and drpped me of at the trainstation and was a wonderful lady to meet and have interesting conversation with.All in all it was so much better than i ever expected and warmed my heard su much,vespecially the sweet company of the little love fur balls, always happy and loyal by my side, i miss them dearly.????????????????????????????????I thank you from my heart lovely Liza, my gratitude is overflowing ??????????????????

Exemplary Home owner
we had a stay beyond our expectations at Liz and Tony, a couple of great kindness, generosity and always available. their big house and apartment has all the comforts. their garden, a little paradise! with vegetable patch, olive trees and plenty of small garden furniture. And of course their adorable dogs just like their owners and so affectionate and easy to live . the region is rich in discovery, Rome and land around . We sympatized with Liz and Tony very well and would come back with great pleasure .Thank you so much

Greatest dogs, lovely family
We spent many weeks of this summer with these incredible dogs...Ren, Yoda and Nanuk, all great charactures, super fun and best of friends. Meeting Liz, Toni and their family has been wonderful ...the easiest and lovliest of people and we enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home incredibly. We were there at the hottest time which can be very hot just outside Rome!..but a favourite spot in the afternoon, sunlounger under a large mulberry tree with a pleasant breeze and the 3 dogs lazing with me was way up there on the perfection.scale. We travel by car and found it useful here...though the metro or train line is only about 20 mins walk away and there is also a bus route on their street. Liz and Toni's garden is huge with a mass of trees and 2 veg patches. There are many lovely towns, villages, lakes, mountains and of course, Rome to visit nearby. We had a lovely stay and will be back! Thank you, Liz, Toni and family

What a fantastic experience
Liz and Tony are two of the nicest people we have ever met. They are honest, kind have a great sense off humour and their home is a real down to earth experience full of love and happy dogs. Even though there were 4 dogs to look after it was a really easy house sit and it took us about a day to get into the routine and fall in love with the dogs. The location is fantastic offering a metro ride of about 40 mins into the city of Rome. We would sit for them again without question and were quite sorry to leave.
