About this sitter
We are a dependable, honest couple looking for house sits in different areas of the UK and Europe. Norma has gardening experience, and likes small animals . Chris has experience with dogs and makes a good labourer to the management. We are houseowners so are respectful of others' property.
Why they want to house sit
To see and experience different areas also to interact with pets as we have none of our own now.

We have done a lot of house sitting and are quite experienced!
We have undertaken short and long term sits in the UK, Europe and Mexico and are very practical people and good at problem solving.
We have looked after dogs, cats, ducks, geese, chickens and black Vietnamese pigs.

House and Poppy sit in the Charente Limousin
We arrived home from our trip yesterday and were delighted that Chris and Norma had enjoyed their stay although the weather hadn't been too great for them. Poppy, our little terrier, was very well and content. She'd enjoyed some really good walks and a lot of attention. The hens had been well looked after and also our large and unruly garden. The house was spotlessly clean and Norma had done battle with the resident weevils and won! My kitchen cupboards and drawers had been cleaned and tidied. Thank you Norma§ I can now find things! We are very happy, it was the perfect house sit for us and we have no hesitation in recommending Chris and Norma to anyone who needs their pets and home cared for...and the bonus is that they travel all over Europe and beyond! Thank you to both of you. It was a big relief for us as we couldn't take Poppy with us for this particular trip. Please visit us, or look after our home again if you are passing by.

House sitters from Heaven!
I have just had my first house sitters experience and WOW, did we hit the jackpot! Norma and Chris are in one word a gift, especially for someone who has never done this before. Norma gave me so much advice and made sure that I left the house feeling that I had not forgotten any important information. We arrived back after a 10 day stay with our family in the UK. The house was sparkling clean. Soup and Cottage Pie in the fridge. Happy content animals. We are so very grateful that we found you both Norma and Chris. Thank you so very much for everything. Chris and Norma looked after our house, dogs , chickens and guests while we were away, they were all well cared for. Would happily have them back to cre for things again. To whom it may concern
Chris Coleman and his partner Norma Harris were by far the best housesitter we ever had ! They were at our place for 5! month, taking care of two dogs (incl. medical help) ,two cats and an old mex. Neighbor. Everything was as we- left- it, or ! in better shape when we came back.We can recoment them to everybody and would be 100% happy if they decided to come back to our place!! Absolutly trustworthy !!

Chris Coleman house sit June 2016.
We could not have wished for better house sitters than chris and Norma. They were considerate, responsible and communicated with us excellently leading up to and during the sit. They were lovely people and we enjoyed the little time we spent with them. Both of our dogs were unexpectedly unwell just before the sit. Chris was unphased by this and managed medication etc. We were reassured and put at ease by chris who is clearly very experienced with animals. The house was left tidy and clean and the garden was very well cared for. We would not hesitate in recommending chris and Norma.

Efficient and caring house-sitter
Chris has house-sat for us three times now, looking after our two boisterous dogs, cat and chickens. He has always been extremely reliable and everything is immaculate when we arrive back home. The animals have been well cared for including grooming the dogs which is certainly over and above the remit of the house-sit and has even prepared a lovely supper for us when we returned home! Chris has also clearly taken care of the garden in our absence by watering and mowing the lawn. I can thoroughly recommend Chris as a house-sitter and am aware that he has a lot of experience.
