About this sitter
I am someone you can feel at ease with leaving your home, pets and garden due to my own experiences owning homes, creating gardens , raising 4 children and having and loving animals. A mother of 4 is a VERY resourceful person.
I desire experiences in nature and connecting to animals, I also would love to spend time by the sea. I grew up in Ireland, so am a good candidate for that country.
My lifestyle is very holistic and grounded in being gentle on the earth and using resources well. I am an energy healer, so, I often work with the animals if they seem open to that.
Why they want to house sit
My kids are grown and this chapter is now about my creative self, I prefer a nomadic lifestyle and house sitting is perfect for this!
Their experience
I began house sitting in 2013 and took it on as a lifestyle because I enjoyed it so much. I now travel as a nomad to the areas I love and have clients in several different states. To date, I have completed many jobs in Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington and California. I've minded all kinds of properties from rural with land to condos in large cities. I have cared for dogs, cats and horses and feel confident with all types. This site is unable to record all of my previous sits, so it says I've completed one which is misleading. I've had at least 20 on this site alone and have had a variety from other sites as well. If you need additional references, I have plenty.
What can they bring to the assignment
I bring a very high vibration into any space. Being an energy healer, I am in tune with all things on a different level from most, so your pets will enjoy the benefit of me tuning into their energy to calm them and help them feel safe. Plants will benefit from how I sing to them and create a healthy energy field in the house and you can benefit from the relaxation you get from leaving your home to someone as genuine and caring as I am . I have been an airbnb host on several properties since it was launched and have much experience with guests and many great reviews on the site. This is a real asset when minding an airbnb home.

House and pet sitter for home in rural location in Co. Clare
Catherine (Catch) house sat for us from the 15th to the 24th of August 2024. She cared for our German shepherd and our pony. We came home to our house just as we left it and to two happy pets. Feeling at ease thanks to Catch
We were so lucky to have Catch and her son look after our dogs and house while we were away. She's an incredible lady with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and took care of everything for us. The house we came back to was beautiful, clean, and tidy. The dogs were having the time of their lives and immediately took to Catch and her son. They stayed in touch with us constantly, sending pictures and updates. Even when we needed extra help with guests at the glampsite, Catch handled everything effortlessly. Truly lovely, wonderful people—we hope to have them back again. We could really relax, feel at ease and enjoy our holiday!

Fabulous experience with Catherine
This was our first time to use mindmyhouse and Catherine made it such a positive experience. She was good at making contact in advance and letting us know when she would get here. She stayed in contact whilst we were away. When we got back the house was perfect, very tidy and the lawn was mowed. Summer, the dog, loved her. It couldn't have been better. Catherine is a lovely lady and she made everything so relaxed and easy. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Friendly, reliable house sitter
Catch house sat our menagerie (donkeys, frogs and dog) over Christmas. She did a great job of taking care of the animals and kept us informed and updated on any issues the pets were having.

WOW~ great experience
Catch was amazing. She communicated in advance, responded promptly throughout the six weeks and was more than I had ever hoped. I came back to a clean house, happy dogs, and ready to travel again. The neighbors loved her and hope she will return as well! She let me know when she had something that didn't make sense (internet) in a totally appropriate way and quickly communicated every time I needed a dog fix. She used my car and left it far cleaner than I had left for her. I'd trust her again and hope to have her back. Plus the dogs miss her. Wonderful experience!

Catch was a perfect house sitter who became a perfect friend
Catch is one of the most wonderful caretakers we have ever had. She pays attention to detail with your pets and knows intuitively if something is not right with them. Not only did she take care of our plants, but she took the initiative to repot some who were desperate for it, but I had no idea. Our little cabin had such a lovely energy to it after she had lived there for a month. Everything was spic and span when we arrived home ... cleaner than when we left I'm embarrassed to say. Emergencies don't phase her. We would have her again in a heart beat. Feel free to contact us at any time for more info!
