About this sitter

First off, we are fully vaccinated and boosted. We take precautions such as N95 masking, ordering food online and picking up, avoiding gatherings/events, and indoor spaces. We are retired, have college degrees, healthy and active. Hobbies include running, hiking, biking, reading, photography, birding, organic gardening, traveling,violin/clarinet, painting/crafts etc. We prefer a rural, quiet setting on acreage but small towns/cities have an appeal also. The ideal would include nearby nature preserves, forest, parks, run/'walk path nearby to explore, yet not too far from cultural events like theater, music, art, etc. We moved from the U.P. of Michigan to a milder climate, N.Central Arkansas. We want to thank you for looking after our pups/cats and house. The house looked amazing when we returned this aft. Everything was so neat and tidy. We are drop dead tired and it was so nice to come into the house and see everything sparkling. The dogs were happy and well treated (with much much thanks). The cats greeted us when we drove up.
Our plane was delayed in SFO due to fog so we rented a car and drove home. I will definitely give you 10 thumbs up if you ever need a house-sitting review.

Dennis and Wendy Beaupre took care of our home and animals for 4 months during the winter here in Prescott Arizona. They were a good team and very thorough in feeding and watering our horses, chickens , cat and 2 big dogs. They were consistent in taking the dogs for hikes every day . Upon our return we found the house very clean and even the windows
were done. Dennis proved very handy with taking care of little problems with the house . The neighbors told us that they enjoyed talking to them and had them over for dinner. For the little time we had with them personally, we found them to be very likable and down to earth people.
We would love to have them back here again for another winter or other trip if possible. We have had several house-sitters in the past and we would put these folks at the top of the list.

Yes, we have had numerous sits during the past 12 years. Ranging in duration from 5 days to 10 mths., in AR 2012(7 mths), AZ(twice Scottsdale 2013/16), N. CA 2010/2012(twice same place 5 mths. ea.),IN(twice same place), and WV(10mths). Winters, CA Aug 2016(2wks), Mesa,Scottsdale, & Gilbert, AZ,Oct 2016(all wk-10days), Prescott,AZ Nov-Mar 2017, Texas 10days 2018. Florida Dec 2019-Jan 2020 6 wks, N.C. Sept 2021, 1 week NM March 2022 10days, and Alberta CA 1 week 2022 Mesa Az/Shreveport LA, 2023, Yuma AZ 2024. All homeowners were very pleased with us and all said we went beyond the call of duty in caring for their property and pets. We have some written statements on another site that we can provide. What can they bring to the assignment

We have a lifetime of experience with pets. Dogs, cats, chickens, & horses. We give loving attention to them as if they were our own. Your home & property will get get the same attention. We have done more than routine cleaning, e.g., painting, minor repairs,deck staining, windows, lawn/garden maintenance. One sit we even built a nice wooden cat house for the outdoor kitties.
We are well aware of the housesitting experience on the other end, as an owner. We have had sitters at our home on 5 different occasions. All great, with the exception of one(long story). Totally understand the concerns of leaving pets and home with strangers.
