About this sitter
I'm a sensible and adventurous, mature woman who loves to travel the world and explore new places. I live in and enjoy the countryside and love city life when I get the opportunity. I enjoy life to the full!
Why they want to house sit
I have much experience sitting across the world and in England. My partner always joins me on sits abroad. Our last assignment was in Penang, Malaysia looking after 5 rescue cats in a condo on the beach. Before that we sat in the Caribbean, Kenya, Ireland, Malaysia, Copenhagen, Portugal, Spain and India and the UK - all with great success and excellent reviews.
Their experience
I was brought up on farm life and always with dogs. In my adult life I had numerous cats to love. I worked at a kennels in Suffolk back in the day - looking after both dogs and cats whilst their owners were on holiday. That was fun! I have experience of house sitting dogs and cats (and chickens, turkeys, ducks, birds and sheep) and have travelled extensively to many countries. I have both owned my own home and rented property successfully, so I know how to look after other people's property.
What can they bring to the assignment
Reliability, caring for your home and pets and keeping in touch. A 'no fuss' approach - tell me what you want done and I'll do it! I am very clean and tidy and non-imposing. I am a very good organizer - I used to be a Project Manager of a number of community projects working with disadvantaged people in and out of prisons. I consider myself to be semi-retired now and am able to keep myself occupied. Although Mind My House only mentions 5 house sits for us, I have completed many, many, more through other websites, agencies and more so freelance now.

Cat sit in Penang
I was very lucky to find Carly & Tim on quite short notice for the Xmas/ NY season, specifically as I was going away for 1 month. They came all the way from the UK to Penang in Malaysia They are very well travelled & have done sits in many countries around the world. They are truly experienced, lovely, friendly people, & it’s obvious how much they love animals. They came a couple of days early to meet me & the cats, & go through my huge list I have for pet sitters. From the very beginning I felt so comfortable with them, & with leaving my 5 extremely loved cats with them. Even when one of my outdoor cats disappeared for the first few days ( missing her mommy) & I was going through mommy panic mode, they reassured me they were constantly looking for her. I guess food eventually won out & she came home, & from then on things were great even with her, the shyest one. The other 4 also got plenty of love & attention as I know Carly & Tim spent a lot of time at home with them. They were all so relaxed with Caryl & Tim from the first meet! And that says a lot as some of them are quite shy with new people at first All but one are on different medications & they managed it all so well. Everyone in my apartment block that met Carly & Tim said how lovely they are. If you do get a request from them, I highly recommend them. They also watered my many plants which all looked good on my return, put up with a leaking ceiling & tradesmen coming in & out to repair it. They are very accommodating & nothing was a problem for them. I want to thank them so much for making my 1 month holiday possible, as I wouldn’t leave my babies with anyone I wasn’t 100% comfortable with. I wish them the very best in any future travels & again really do recommend them as great pet & house sitters. Best regards to you both & a huge thank you form Oxy, Jinxi, Tigi, Bindi, & Cap. And of course from me. I would have them back any day.

Carole & Courtney were the best house sitters ever!
Carole & Courtney contacted me to come over to Pontevedra (Galiza, Spain) in Easter to look after my two dogs, Xaxa and Golfo. Carole is a very responsible and sensible person, she came with her granddaughter the day before I left to be able to come with me during all the walks and to be sure they would know everything needed to look after the dogs. She kept in contact to be sure she knew what to do with Xaxa's alergy and anytime anything unusual happened. Courtney is the most sweet and polite kid I have seen in a long time. She got on really well with Golfo since the beginning, walked and looked after him too. At home they left everything better than it was before. I am very grateful and happy that they decided to come here.

Excellent catsitter
We came home to a couple of happy, relaxed cats and a flat that probably was cleaner than when we left. Found fresh flowers on tables and laundry all done, unnecessary but still a very nice touch. Would have Carole and Tim back any day.
