About this sitter
I prefer warmer and tropical locales in international locations. I am open to both urban and rural locations, but I don't want total isolation. I require reliable internet and enough free time to exercise 1-2 hours a day, whether swimming, biking, running or gym. Access to towns and stores is nice
Why they want to house sit
At this point in my life I want to see and experience new places. I lived or worked in more than 30 countries. I like to learn and speak foreign languages... I was a career US diplomat for 7 years and have worked in international business for mroe than 20 years.
Their experience
My most recent experience was 5 months (April-September 2018) in Playa Blanca Mexico; before that 3.5 months (July-November 2017) house and pet sitting in Aticama Nayarit Mexico,and before that 4 months house sitting (December 2016 through March 2017) house sitting in rural Playa Blanca Mexico. Owner references are available upon request.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am a responsible sober individual who has owned 4 homes and is well aware of maintenance requirements and issues. I also enjoy animals. Neighbors enjoy having me around and I can even do volunteer work, English teaching etc as I did in Mexico

Intelligent, Responsible & Trustworthy
I heartily recommend Mike, he’s responsible, tidy, and a trustworthy house-sitter.
