I am a reliable, honest person who loves animals, the countryside and nature, and I would enjoy taking care of animals in a quiet environment, in a village or near a village or small town, not isolated or too remote.

Why they want to house sit

I enjoy a change of scenery and seeing different places. I like looking after animals and being around them.

Their experience

I have always had a dog in my life, and have had a cat and rabbits. I had a horse for five years which I looked after myself on my own land in Tenerife. I have house sat for a friend and her two dogs for six weeks and have worked as a carer for people that had animals. I am also happy and confident around farm animals, such as cattle, sheep, goats, as well as horses and donkeys. I have also volunteered at a small animal sanctuary/rescue centre and helped care for the cats and kittens.

What can they bring to the assignment

I consider myself a very caring and conscientious person, with common sense. I am practical and methodical and would treat the owner's home with respect. I would take care of the animals as if they were my own, and according to the owner's wishes.
