About this sitter
My name is Angela Gradney and I have been a business and home owner all of my adult life. I’ve raised five beautiful children, nine wonderful dogs, three lively cats and hosted over 50 foreign exchange students from all over the world. I was an active member of Rotary International for 30 years and served as chairperson for the Youth Exchange Program. I have traveled extensively and I am familiar with many cultures of the world.
The last business I owned and built from the ground up was a beautiful lodge and restaurant . The restaurant is currently rated number one on the Kenai Peninsula. I kept the lodge and restaurant immaculate, decorated beautifully for all the special events that took place, such as weddings, concerts, private parties to name a few. I also gave special attention to all the rooms and made them ready for our next guest.
I know what a person expects when they return home from a vacation or a business trip and I give nothing less. I make an ideal sitter for your house and give plenty of love to your furry pets. I am meticulous when it comes to cleanliness, reliable when I make a commitment, trustworthy and conscientious when I take on a responsibility.
Why they want to house sit
I remember many a times I needed a reliable caregiver for my house and pets. It was so difficult finding someone we sometimes had to either take our animals with us or cancel our trip.
Now I have the time and ability to help other homeowners travel with a peace of mind knowing their home and pets are being given the care they need.

Angela is wonderful!
Angela was an excellent house sitter over her 4 weeks here, A+! She made a firm commitment and emailed me travel details at important intervals, so I never had doubts that she would show up. She came on schedule and was pleasant to deal with, with minimal needs. She took exquisite and loving care of my goofy, messy dog and my 2 cats! One of my cats is elderly with constant demands for food and a nose that needs wiping. The other cat is neurotic, and she handled his hiding outside by leaving the door open and letting him come in at his own pace. She regularly sent pictures of them as a note of comfort. Angela also watered numerous plants and barely touched my food. She left my house cleaner than it was when she came! She is very friendly and interesting to talk to, but doesn’t overburden you with her views. She is a quality person of great integrity and generosity.
