We are Aad and Marit, entrepreneurs in art and design from the Netherlands.
Open minded, tidy, non smokers with lots of energy to take care of your property as if it was our own.
Why they want to house sit
We are trying to find a new way of living. Traveling the world, living in different places. Discover, work, enjoy and care for each other, others and the environment.
Their experience
We have been minding houses for over 8 years now, some with dogs and cats, large gardens, a swimming pool. Some houses we just kept clean and tidy, some we even refurbished.
What can they bring to the assignment
We are experienced with the maintenance of gardens, country estates, swimming pools and taking care of dogs, cats and other small pets.
We can also take care of your interior design or styling.
We have our own car for assignments in Europe.

Marit & Aad looked after our house, two dogs, and several cats for about two weeks in October 2019. They were clear and helpful in their communication and organisation, and arrived a full day before we left so they could get to know the dogs, and how things worked around the house. They were happy to do some basic pool care while we were away, and the house was clean and tidy when we got back. They were also kind enough to cook for us the night we returned. The dogs and cats had obviously been very well looked after, and we appreciated getting a few pictures and updates to reassure us that all was well. Marit & Aad are friendly, caring and reliable people, and we felt able to relax in the knowledge our home and animals were in safe hands. We'd certainly have them sit for us again, and are happy to recommend them to others!

As an international journalist and author, I have to travel many times a year, together with my wife, Columbia, an international photographer. It is a pleasure to write this letter in support of Aad & Marit Windig who took care of our two dogs, Siog and Lugh this summer. Aad & Marit spent about six weeks at our home in northwestern Donegal, Ireland and we were very satisfied with the way our home was kept clean and maintained and how our dogs were treated. We have no hesitation to recommending Aad & Marit and we would love them to take care of our home and pets again if so required.
