About this sitter

We are a very simple, happy couple. Both professionals with a lust for life and nature. We have a very happy lifestyle, and treat each day as a gift to make the most of. Although that may sound ambitious to some...remember I mentioned simple earlier. Our jobs take care of our ambitious side...outside of work, we like to savour what opportunities the world out there has to offer. Neither of us gets too caught up in a room with a hot tub and a view of whatever( although a view is always nice to appreciate) and breakfast included. We want to see the world as lived where ever and by who ever. AND if that includes snuggling, walking and spending time with your pets, we are all over it. Animal lovers we are. We are also extremely respectful of others and their belongings, so much so that I'm proud to say our adult children have the same attributes, so we feel if we've made that good of an impression we must be doing something right.

Why they want to house sit

I think we would like to house sit for a few reasons. We feel that 'living' in an environment will be a much more fullfilling experience, hopefuling giving us more exposure to the community. We hope to use this experience as a means to travel with the opportunity to experience true culture over a ' booked vacation' experience. Having had pets that sometimes limited our travelling experiences we realized it would have been peace of mind knowing that our pets would be cared for as well as if we would have been there for them, rest assured we will look after your home, but WE WILL BE THERE for you when it comes to your fur/feathered/hairy family. We specialize in animal/kid care and physchology...and nuture is our #1.

Their experience

Yes, we both grew up with pets and for the past 14 years loved and spoiled our SPCA rescue girl, Zena (who we miss so much). Most stubborn dog we both ever knew, but what a special girl. She will remain in our hearts forever. Zena was a pittbull, with many anxiety and separation issues...and we loved her, and she loved us back, and you realized more than ever how important it is to 'listen' to your pets...just like how important it is to listen to your kids, yes for many of us, our pets are like our children.

Susan currently works at a horse barn, feeding, grooming and cleaning of the barn, other buildings and paddocks.

What can they bring to the assignment

Very responsible home owner experience for decades. We have always stayed on top of household maintenance, as both of us together and prior to meeting have successful blended knowledge, experience and understanding of mechanical, physical and financial care and responsibilities of home and pet ownership, (as well as raising three children).
