About this sitter

Hi! I am Myriam (53), non-smoking vegetarian, open to be inspired by new places and beings... loving dogs but due to rental conditions haven't been able to have my own pack (yet)... which leaves me with more flexibility in terms of taking care of others', and appreciating the temporary experiences even more.

I do live with a bunch of outdoor cats who occupy a special place in my heart. Over the years this has included rescue kitten care and (indoor) handrearing as well as respectful handling of semi-feral cats.

Why they want to house sit

Getting to know new places and working with all sorts of animal beings has proven to be enjoyment, adventure and expansion on the soul journey. :-)

Their experience

My son and I absolutely enjoyed the pack experience sitting two lovely dogs (plus chickens) in England on starting our housesitting journey some time ago. We've had a break since but felt drawn to renew our MMH membership every year... for a reason, I believe! :-)

In the meantime I've had the joy of taking care of neighbouring dog and cat friends. Animals have helped me grow so much over the years - living respectfully alongside each other has become an essential part of my life.

Whatever place I have lived in, in whatever country, deep care, love and respect come with me. I can tell you about papers and certificates, like having a business degree in travel & tourism, my hospitality trade experience in various positions (including a perfectionist housekeeping team for a holiday home) ...but all this has been a while, and doesn't tell you much about my current path and personality.

So, what it comes down to is, do you feel you want to entrust your home to me for a while? If you do, I'll be happy to hear from you - alignment matters.

What can they bring to the assignment

My own home and animal companions are precious to me... and so are yours. I am committed to respect and care for your space. Dogs, cats or other species... my heart is big enough for all animals - who, along with my son, have inspired me the most on this life journey. I appreciate clear instructions you'd like to leave me with, especially when it comes to your animals' routines, to make your absence as easy and comfortable as possible for them.

However, I'm also happy to work with any issues you might be having with your companion - just let me know. I work with energy, and from my perspective a temporary separation can be a precious healing and rehabilitation opportunity for both human and animal.

Being out in nature and regular walks are essential for any living being including me so that will naturally be taken care of unless you emphasise certain restrictions. The unique you won't ever be replaced while you are away but I'll always strive to bring peace, balance and harmony along with my own essence.

I enjoy gardening, and I'm on a path to more sustainable and self-sufficient living. Very open to learning from your own experience and always bringing loving care and attention to your indoor and outdoor grounds, just as to your animals. :-)
