About this sitter

I'm a mature, intelligent and experienced Founder of an online art-based business. I'm able to manage my professional affairs from anywhere, and at 64 years old - am looking for a bit of non-American adventure, and am longing for a perspective that is more international. I am well-traveled, enormously capable - have raised kids, cats, and plenty of dogs. Experienced vegetable gardener. And have run a B+ B. I'm neat and well-organized, unfailingly discreet, and very responsible.

Why they want to house sit

Having not traveled internationally for a number of years, (and especially with COVID) I am looking to immerse myself in a culture by living in it for an extended period of time. I have always preferred a private home or apartment to hotels, and have been lucky enough to have experienced this kind of local living all over Europe. Taking time to raise my two boys, it has been over 20 years since I've been able to do this and since my business can be operated from anywhere - I think this is the perfect situation for me-as long as there is good internet access.

Their experience

Very Experienced. I have rented houses all over Europe, and have managed homes for several high net-worth individuals as well as celebrities, predominately in Los Angeles. I've run several BnB's, from 3 rooms to 8, and some that also included a full breakfast-to order. Life long extremely present and affectionate pet owner: Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Fish (so far).

What can they bring to the assignment

I am resourceful, settled and not the partying type. I am fastidious in neatness and organization and a pet owner all my life. 2 Cats currently, but have a lot of experience with rescues, and particularly with Goldens and Huskies. I have owned/rented several large properties, and have remodeled or supervised the remodeling of many of them. I am familiar with the ups and downs and calamities that can befall any homeowner, and am equipped to take care of most any unexpected issue that could come up during a house or pet-sitting stint.
