About this sitter
We are a professional, retired, married English couple with a good sense of humour, non-smokers, who like travelling and meeting other people. We are extremely active and enjoy walking, gardening and the countryside. Our ideal house sit would be looking after sensible animals (cats, dogs, etc). We are home owners ourselves and are careful, considerate sitters who would take care of your property. We have some house sitting experience, looking after cats, dogs, donkeys, ducks, pygmy goats and a small pony. One of us speaks reasonable French, the other is learning! We both have clean driving licenses.

Great pet sitters. Friendly, reliable and conscientious
Wyndham and Donna looked after our 2 large horses, our elderly cat and our very lively young border collie for a week whilst we went to Menorca. They came a few days early so that they could get used to all the animal's routines and take Chester on a few walks and by the time we went away I wasn't worried at all about leaving them in their care. Bobby the cat soon adopted them arriving in for his medication twice a day and making himself at home on their laps, a sure sign that they are true animal lovers. The weather wasn't good while we were away but Wyn and Donna made sure that the horses were happy changing their rugs and giving them hay in the field shelter and bringing them in and out of the stables. They soon picked up all the horse care duties from cleaning out feet and grooming to mucking out stables and filling water buckets and haynets. Besides all this they had our very boisterous one year old collie to exercise and keep entertained on rainy days. They really did a great job and we returned to happy, contented animals, a clean house and a lovely evening meal cooked by Donna. We really enjoyed their company and hope that they will stay in touch and we will see them again one day in the future, What more could you want from pet sitters??

Thank you Wyn and Donna
We knew from our first online chat that Wyn and Donna would be perfect for us and our merry band of 4 legged friends. They arrived the day before and we were able to take our time to go over all aspects of animal and house management. Communication while we were away was exactly at the level we requested and they dealt with unexpected events with no fuss. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy house and a delicious meal. We enjoyed their company both before and after our holiday and would be more than happy to have them back to stay again.

Absolutely lovely couple
Thins was our first experience of leaving our home and pets in the care of house sitters and we could not have been happier. Donna and Wyn were friendly and kind and we felt immediately relaxed to leave our dog and cats in their care. They arrived on time, and made sure they knew as much as possible before we left. Donna kept in touch regularly during our holiday to let us know how everything was going and when we arrived home it was clear that our dog had become very attached to them both! The house was spotless and we wouldn’t hesitate to have Donna and Wyn back again or to recommend them to other home owners. Thank you both so much.

Wonderful House Sitters
It was a pleasure to have Donna and Wyn house sit for us. They were conscientious and very friendly - the cats and donkeys were well looked after and content when we returned. Donna sent regular messages throughout our holiday on how the pets were doing. I would not hesitate to recommend them. We also shared a couple of meals together and got on very well.

More like friends...
Wyn and Donna are a pleasure to know and very reliable and competent at house sitting. They communicated with us on several occasions prior to meeting - which was very reassuring. They arrived promptly as arranged and understood our need to get ourselves up and out! On return they had made a wonderful dinner, kept the place perfectly and even moved the lawn (it is not small!). It was like returning to old friends! We then spent a lovely and late evening chatting about each others' week. We would highly recommend them - though don't get too friendly as we want them back !

So HAPPY and at PEACE to have Wyn and Donna look after our place during COVID 2020
We were absolutely thrilled to have Wyn and Donna get in touch with us to look after our place during Covid 2020! We have been trying to get to our place in France from the USA for over 7 months, but due to Covid have been forbidden from entering France from the USA. Though we have 'in-village Caretaker's' that look after our place in winter months, we are used to being on-site and working with our Caretakers from June through August every summer for the last 20 years!! We were so thankful that Wyn and Donna reached out to us through MindMyHouse, and were able to come to look after our place in our absence. We had the privilege of having Wyn and Donna as Caretakers at our place in 2019, as they not only helped us out with every aspect of Chateau/Manoir du Mur (see previous testimony about Wyn and Donna from us!) they also closed up our place in 2019, which can be a daunting task, and were more than willing to do it again for us this year 2020! It gave us a lot of peace to have this joyful, responsible couple on site, and we could sleep peacefully at night knowing our property was in such good hands! If you have a chance to have this couple at your place, grab them quick! Thanks again Wyn and Donna!!!!

If you are looking for a fun, hardworking, organized, just get on and 'do it' couple...You will ABSOLUTELY love Wyn and Donna!!!!
We were absolutely THRILLED to have the delight of working with Wyn and Donna this summer July and August 2019!! We have a 181 acre estate in France, with a Chateau, Manoir, orchards and gardens that require non-stop, constant upkeep. While that's more than enough for anyone to take on, (which Wyn and Donna did above and beyond what we could have dreamed of!) the task of closing up our place for the winter months can only be handled by the most hardworking, responsible, and detailed of personalities....and that is what we were so incredibly fortunate to have in Wyn and Donna!!!! Closing everything up at our place for the winter months is a big responsibility, which means preparing the Chateau (cleaning, turning off gas, draining pipes) as well as preparing the place against LOTS of moisture that occurs in winter so things don't get damaged. In addition they closed up the 13th Century Manoir with 5 apartments and all of the outbuildings, as well as preparing 2 cars and a very large garden (a few acres and orchards around the Chateau and Manoir!) to all go into 'winter hibernation' safely and soundly. While working with Wyn and Donna they were constantly cheerful, fun and inventive (thanks Wyn for helping us figure out the black dust problem from the furnace!!!) Donna was really on top of taking care of things before even being asked, and anticipating problems before they occurred! (Thanks so much Donna for taking the time to do final inventory and helping future caretakers with your fantastic recommendations for next year!) They were wonderful and loving with our 5 year old grandson and our Yorkshire Terrier. We highly recommend this fun, endearing couple, who are so hardworking while at the same time, easy to work with!!!

Delightful, friendly couple with a kindly, responsible attitude
I was very pleased indeed to meet Donna and Wyn and had no hesitation in welcoming them into my home. Donna and Wyn arrived the day before at my suggestion. They were very willing to spend that extra time familiarising themselves with my dog's routines, food and medication etc. It was obvious that they were comfortable in handling my dog and he obviously took to Donna and Wyn straight away. I would happily recommend this lovely couple to take responsibility of your home and pets. I very much hope that they will come again.
