What a great way to meet, greet and learn about people from all over the world. Call me Janet and I'm the one you looking for. Travel for a couple of years now on my own.
A lot of (house/pet)experiences, easy-going, open-minded, enthusiastic, proactive, energetic, driven not afraid to do what's necessary to help you out. Keep your house/pets tidy. Responsible, good health, Young at heart.
No vegetarian /vegan, although love the food. No smoker.

Why they want to house sit

When you travel around, it's difficult to get to know the local population and culture. House/pets sitting is - frankly - the solution to take advantage of this. To be in one place and an advantageous way of traveling or living on a small budget. Win-win situation. Moreover, you help others to solve a problem. In practice, it's often difficult to find a good house/pet sitter. Love animals in general. Well, you don't have to look any further. I'm taking my duties very seriously and responsibilities toward you, your property (had a business of my own), and your animals. Relax and go.

Janet is an amazing woman, personality and volunteer! Very hard working and even harder to stop her. No need to tell her what to do as she has started before you know it! Looking after 3 dogs (1 disable). Always happy and smiling or even singing along... nice to be around with! She definitely brings change and lifts your spirits meanwhile!

Janet has been One of the most Amazing volunteers we have had Ourland. She has put in more work than me and my team combined. I can confidently say that She has left OurLand much better than when she arrived. Up early in the morning and helping us with all the chores around, she always find something new to do even when we are out of projects. Besides all that, we have had interesting conversations about life and she has taken the effort to get close to all of us. Her presence brings a warmth that brings happiness to us and also the guests who came to visit. Not to forget is her passion for games, and she developed several games for use with kids. I would surely recommend Janet for a volunteering or sitting position anywhere! Even when we were away a couple of weeks she did a great job house sitting and entertain the guests and give a snake course.

We had Janet here for 6 weeks which went so fast
We were so happy with her ability to work alone and see a project and just do it without asking. Many days she was up and started work before all of us - a very hard worker, she also fitted in with the other helpers Janet's gift was outside work which she did well painting, gardening and some ironing we had, it is not often you have a helper who can work unsupervised and willing to help in any way in there on time and think for themselves - Janet is the one.
We thank Janet for her kindness to us and our grandkids they loved to play cards with her and often ask about her. She also has many tales to tell about her travels and is very interesting. Looks after the dogs (4) and house when we were on a short holiday and managing the B&B.
We were sorry to see Janet go but I am sure she is traveling well and the next host she has will be very lucky to have her in their home.

We had the absolute privilege of hosting Janet for 6 weeks this year. She became part of our family and blessed us in so many ways! Janet interacted positively with all our children, and they have enjoyed her company so much! Janet has undertaken housecleaning and gardening tasks with great attention to detail. Her tasks involved looking after a busy pre-schooler, meal preparation, car cleaning, sewing, house sitting/cleaning, weeding outside and general shed duties (painting, angle grinding etc). All these tasks have been done consistently, diligently and meticulously. If unsure of how to do a task Janet asked for clarification. We really appreciated her great flexibility and cheerfulness in undertaking all these responsibilities, and on many occasions going above and beyond in order to complete some difficult jobs to a high standard! Janet would be welcome to our home again at any time and we wish her all the very best on her travels. Thank you!!
