We are a positive and energetic couple, who loves pets and other animals.
When you are looking for a trustable and non smoking couple, please read further. We are clean, tidy, honest, responsible, quiet, communicative and committed. With these character traits we will take care of your house and animals.
Why they want to house sit
We noticed, that there is a need from house-and pets owners to take care of their properties while they are away.
We love to see other countries, not like a tourist but like a short kind of living there. Because we have lived and worked in other country's and now retired, settled down in the Netherlands, we are missing the variety in daily life and being abroad.
Of course we love animals and to take care of them in the best possible way.

Joanne worked for example also, 8 years as a nurse anesthetist in the veterinary university of Bern, Switzerland, and has a lot of experience with ill animals and how to treat them if necessary.

Joanne and Peter are lovely people - friendly, accommodating and easy to get on with. They cared for our house and our cat exactly as we would have wished. They kept in touch regularly, and when we returned had left us a delicious meal. We found our home in a clean and immaculate condition. Very reliable and friendly
We chose Joanne and Peter to house sit for us in July 2021 from a short-list of several excellent candidates. We made a good choice. They are a delightful couple and we were always confident in leaving them our house, garden and dog for a fortnight. All were very well cared for and we received regular updates. Peter kindly drove us to the airport and they supplied a fridge full of fresh food for our return. Peter even restored my beautiful but neglected Gibson guitar and made it sing as it should. The house was clean and tidy upon our return. We would be more than happy to have them house-sitting again.

Just the best!
For us it was the first experience of having a housesitter that we didn't know beforehand (like relatives, friends, etc.). Till now, every holiday was a bit of a worry - is the house managed, are the pupps happy? What can we say? Our experience with Joanne and Peter was just fantastic!! We stayed overseas for over 3 weeks over Christmas 2019, the two of them arrived a day prior to our departure and we instantly got along well. We briefed them on the house and the specifics around our two dogs and it all worked like a bliss. We got regular updates on Whatsapp, everything was taken care of in the most responsible way and the puppies were happy and entertained. Even our old Jack-Russell with a slight eating disorder was in his best shape ever! We can only warmly recommend Joanne and Pieter, they are a friendly, super-reliable and genuinely nice couple with a great sense of humour. Over and above a great house/dogsitting experience, we found ourselves some dear friends and will certainly stay in contact going ahead.

Just amazing - we highly recommend them!
Joannne and Peter did an outstanding job taking care of our house in the countryside along with our cat, chickens and 4 horses. We shared dinner with them the day they arrived and we enjoyed getting to know them. They are a super friendly and easy-going couple, also very reliable, tidy and they were great at sending us emails with updates from home . They really went above and beyond, and we had zero worries while we were away. We arrived home to a spotless house and happy pets. Thank you so much for taking such great care of everything you guys, you are welcome back any time!
