About this sitter

We are a retired professional couple that love animals (particularly cats and dogs). We live in Suffolk, England and enjoy the countryside and nature that surrounds us. We particularly enjoy exploring the areas we visit on our bicycles and taking long walks.
We would love to be able to take care of your pets and and explore the area where you live... especially if you have a dog (or dogs) that enjoys a long walk!

Why they want to house sit

We both really love animals and have had pets in the past but at present because we are travelling a lot it does make it impractical to have pets of our own. We are an adventurous couple and are currently enjoying exploring different areas and countries but we do miss having animals as part of our lives so would love to be able to take care of your pets and enjoy their company whilst we do this. We are both retired professionals and between us speak English, Italian and Spanish. We are very conscientious and respectful of other people's houses plus we both love looking after pets. We would welcome having the pleasure of taking care of your pets and experience living in your area.

Their experience

We are experienced house and pet sitters and have carried out house and pet sitting assignments for several families while they have been away. They have been very pleased with how we have cared for their pets and home and contact us in the first instance when ever they go away.

On one of our pet sits we looked after 3 dogs with various medical conditions which meant daily medication.

What can they bring to the assignment

We have had our own pets in the past and know how important they are to the family so understand that you want them to be lovingly cared for in your absence.

We are also very experienced at looking after houses and garden gardens and are considered to be very reliable, responsible and conscientious couple who like to ensure properties are well maintained, kept clean and treated with respect. Our house in England set in 2500 square meters of land therefore we are used to taking care of larger gardens using garden tractors and maintaining swimming pools.
We speak English, Italian and Spanish and speak sufficient French to get by.

Marisa can provide a copy of her police check because she used to volunteer and take elderly people to hospital and doctors appointments.
