About this sitter
We, Gerry and Svetlana, are a retired Canadian couple living in Vancouver. We are very reliable and flexible, non-smokers and non-drinkers. House-sitting for us is a way of traveling and discovering new places.
Why they want to house sit
Traveling and meeting new people is a big pleasure for us. We love pets, but they are not allowed in our housing co-op. Pet-sitting gives us an opportunity to spend some quality time with animals.
Their experience
We are experienced house-sitters. We've done several assignments in Canada, USA and Mexico and can provide excellent references.
What can they bring to the assignment
We will take good care of your place. Upon your return you will find it as clean as it was when you left. Pets will be happy. Gerry has great technical skills and is able to fix small problems. Svetlana loves gardening and knows how to do it.

Happy kitties
Svetlana and Gerry have looked after our home and kitties about 6 times now. I know our kitties are are well looked after because of the shape they are in when we return home. Happy. Relaxed. Well fed. It’s easy to tell if they have been ignored. Svetlana and Gerry are dependable, reliable and careful with our house and garden as well.
