I am looking for a new place to explore and where I can have some peace of mind. I am very caring, so supposing there are pets or animals, I would love to take care of them, and provide them with all the protection and consideration I possibly could.
Why they want to house sit
I have recently finished my PhD, and I need some time to think about the next step in my career. For this purpose, I thought it would be great to travel and get to know other cities, people, and experiences in the meantime.
Their experience
I haven’t had any pets (since my parents didn’t like the idea), but I love animals, and I have some experience taking care of my sister’s cat and my aunt’s dog. I also have a little indoor garden with wonderful tomatoes, jalapeños, and an avocado tree. Furthermore, I have previously participated in a few work-camps, where the goal was to establish a connection with a small community by helping them to restore river banks and nature paths environmentally.
What can they bring to the assignment
I am always willing to help, so I guess a great attitude!

Fantastic catsitter
Amaia and Erik did take care of my 2 cats for 20 days in Barcelona, while I went on holidays. They took very good care of both cats. One of the cats Gucci has problems renales and has to take medicine and special food. After 1 week Gucci became sick and Amaia reacted fantastic, contacted me directly and brought the cat to the clinic. Luckily Gucci didn’t had to stay in the clinic, but had to take more medicine. So Amaia made sure that Gucci took her medicine every day and eat, to gain weight and stay healthy. The communication was all the time fantastic, she informed me about everything. Thanks to both of them Gucci recovered very fast. I can recommend them 100 % ????

Visit in Poland
Very friendly, trustworthy and reliable girl. She took such a good care of our dog and our house, you can definitely rely on her as there were no problems at all, i'm happy we were able to make it work for us.

Fantastic pet and house sitter
Amaia came to Edinburgh over the New Year period to look after my two cats and the house. I was leaving with my family before she arrived, so left a note. She was excellent at keeping in touch, reliable, and - most importantly - looked after my cats well. Which included giving one of them medicine on a daily basis - so reliability was essential. I came back to a lovely tidy house, and chilled out cats. So, I only have positive things to say and am very happy to give Amaia a fully positive reference - I'd have her back any time with absolutely no reservations!
